Rethinking Our Connection with Our Planet
and the Divine Feminine

 

The valley spirit never dies;

Today we witness the intentional burning of forests, the careless poisoning of our life-giving soils and precious waterways, the destruction of ancestral sacred sites, and the pollution of the very air we breathe.

We have forgotten that, this planet we treat as a commodity, is actually our Mother - Mother Earth - Gaia. 

She is the one who birthed us, all life force, and She is the one who we will all return to at the end of this incarnation.

Is there a connection between how we treat our planet and the rejection of the Divine Feminine from our soul consciousness?

The late Buddhist monk, Thich Nhat Hanh, commented that Mother Earth is not only the environment, she is US.  People get sick because they are alienated from Mother Earth, that they have forgotten that they are on Mother Earth and that they have a body given to them by Mother Earth.
